The ‘why’ behind Zealous Camp
In previous years, the Zealous anniversary has been centered around themes of celebration and remembering the faithfulness of God over the last year. As we approach another milestone for Zealous turning 4, it is our desire to prepare ourselves for a much bigger appetite.
We want to help create a space for people to encounter Jesus in a fresh and unique manner. By breaking away from the Sunday setting, we can collectively focus on;
- A time set apart to hear from God and accelerate our spiritual formation journey
- Empowering and equipping ourselves to be more actively involved in the work of the church
- Community fellowship and bonding beyond weekly Sunday gatherings
- A meaningful celebration as we step into another year of building the local church
Here is the promise word for this year that we have been praying according to:
14 “ God says, “Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so my people can return from captivity.”
15 The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.”

Who can attend?
The retreat is open to everyone at Zealous and their guests. We encourage you to use the camp as an evangelistic opportunity. This will be an excellent setting for your friend or colleague to experience Christ centred community.
The property will allow pets for a fee of Rs.1,000 per day.
Travel Deets
Many people consider the journey to the location the actual start of the retreat. But we also understand the diverse needs of our community. Hence we leave the option to the individual camper for the travel. We have organised a bus to take us to the campsite, but you are also free to travel by your personal transport. Please make sure to inform us of your preference while registering so that we can plan accordingly.
